For 250 years, America's strength has never come from Washington alone. It has come from neighborhoods, family businesses, entrepreneurs, skilled trades, and people willing to open their doors every morning to serve their communities. That's exactly why meet da' boss exists—to introduce you to the people behind the businesses that make Mobile and Baldwin County such incredible places to call home.

Celebrate America's 250th Birthday Around Mobile Bay

Looking for the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day? Whether you enjoy waterfront fireworks, live music, family activities, or relaxing with your toes in the sand, the Mobile Bay area has something for everyone.

USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park The City of Mobile's 4th of July Celebration promises an evening filled with patriotic fun as America celebrates its 250th birthday. Enjoy live music from DJ Geaux, The Six Piece Suits, and The Kazzettes while browsing local vendors, visiting food trucks, playing family-friendly games, and supporting area nonprofits. The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display over the USS Alabama at 9:00 p.m. Bring lawn chairs or blankets, stay hydrated, and settle in for one of the Gulf Coast's largest Independence Day celebrations. Event is free, however there is a $10 parking fee, cash only.

Fairhope Pier & Henry George Bluff Park Celebrate along Mobile Bay with one of the area's most scenic traditions. Beginning at 7:00 p.m., the impressive 250-piece "Baldwin 250" musical ensemble will perform at Henry George Bluff Park, followed by fireworks over Mobile Bay at 9:00 p.m. It's the perfect evening for families to enjoy the beautiful waterfront while honoring our nation's milestone anniversary.

The Elite Pier House – Spanish Fort If you're looking for a festive waterfront atmosphere, The Elite Pier House offers a front-row seat to the holiday. Enjoy great food, music, and beautiful views from the deck while watching fireworks light up the bay.

Dauphin Island For a more laid-back Fourth of July experience, Dauphin Island offers one of the Gulf Coast's most memorable settings. Pack a blanket, beach chairs, and your favorite snacks, then find a spot along the shoreline to watch fireworks reflect across the Gulf waters. The show is centered near the public beach by Dauphin Island Elementary School, with several public parking areas available and trolley service operating throughout the evening. It's a wonderful way to celebrate while enjoying the natural beauty that makes Dauphin Island such a treasured destination. There is a small fee to park.

No matter where you choose to celebrate, we hope your Independence Day is filled with family, friends, gratitude, and unforgettable memories as we honor 250 years of American freedom.

Here's to the Next 250 Years

As you celebrate this Independence Day, we encourage you to enjoy everything our Gulf Coast communities have to offer—from fireworks and family gatherings to beach days and backyard cookouts. While you're making memories, don't forget to take care of yourself and those around you. Summer heat along the Gulf Coast can be intense, so drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen, seek shade when possible, and take frequent breaks if you're spending time outdoors.

Most importantly, remember that every purchase you make with a locally owned business helps strengthen the community we all call home. We are proud to partner with business owners who believe in serving their customers with integrity, supporting their employees, and giving back to Mobile and Baldwin Counties.

From all of us at meet da' boss, thank you for supporting local businesses and for helping build a stronger community—one relationship at a time.

We wish you and your family a safe, happy, and memorable Fourth of July as we celebrate 250 years of American independence. Here's to freedom, community, and the next 250 years of opportunity.
