Creative Ideas for Home & Office

"The best rooms have something to say about the people who live in them". ~ David Hicks

Last week we went on several location photo shoots with Diane Cashen Interiors and quite honestly, she left us feeling inspired. One of the biggest roadblocks to hiring an interior designer is the fear that you'll have to get rid of all of your "stuff". Trust me, my husband worked with a well-known designer in New Orleans and that person dictated every piece of furniture, art, rug and wall color that went into his home. He felt like he was living in a showroom instead of an abode.

Diane 's approach is different. She will meet with you, ask questions and really listen to your desires for your home or office. Keeping the pieces that complement your plans and making suggestions for additions is her focus. In fact, there have been occasions where rearranging the furniture and adding a rug, created an entirely new living space with a minimal investment.

Her keen eye for color combinations and room layouts is a skill that she has honed over the years. Her passion is for her clients to have a true sense of ownership of the space she designs with them.

You'll be able to read her story on www.meetdaboss.com/dianecashen later this week!
