Has your inbox been busting at the seams with great sales from big box stores, locals and more? I can't recall ever having so much solicitous email. In anticipation of the overload, I elected not to send out The Local Vibe last Friday. I imagine it would have been buried in the clutter.
There seems to be so many distractions these days and that is certainly having an affect on folks. I encourage you to slow down this week and take in the beauty of nature. Our trees are showing off along the coast and their leaves are gracing the lawns in our neighborhoods. We have been fortunate to experience cold nights and pleasant days recently. There is nothing like a stroll outdoors to reset your over stimulated brain! I've been walking the fur-kids and taking in all of the lovely holiday decorations. My neighbor has added some glorious tin soldiers to her holiday decor and they are incredible! Are you finished decorating yet? I haven't even pulled the baubles down from the attic! I guess we will tackle this over the weekend!

Things to Do Along the Gulf Coast This Weekend!
This is not your average Gingerbread House! This beauty is on display in the lobby of The Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama. We happened upon this holiday fun after a wonderful meal at Tamara's Downtown in Fairhope. The Ironbowl (a nail biter for sure) had wrapped up and we was looking for a place to relax. The 8' x 16' display has become a holiday tradition at the 174 year old hotel. Your children and grandchildren will enjoy playing "I Spy" finding hidden treasures in the Gingerbread Hotel! This beautiful landmark was the perfect nightcap to an incredible day. You can visit The Grand and its amazing restaurants this weekend!
